Motorola subcontrato la produccion de sus telefonos gama baja cuyo precio en retail es menor a US$ 150 según informo una publicacion China United Daily News. Esto es alrededor de 40 millones de teléfonos al año. Los chips serán del fabricante MediaTek, un reconocido productor de chips a bajo costo y con buen performance.
