Revista Dinero: Movistar Colombia will launch an outlet store

Like a year ago, here in Colombia the mobile network operators began to sell cellphones almost with no financial aid, the reason? The economical crisis. Well it seems like Colombians have reduced their cell phones shopping, causing over stock.

To fight against that we are seeing moves, Comcel, the main player is promoting blackberry devices with economical plans. Later Tigo launched an aggressive campaign to sell their cellphones unlocked. Now, Movistar announced an outlet store here in Bogota on november 5th, where they’re going to sell cell phones from COP $ 9.900, that’s around US $ 5.

Well, I hope this can benefit in bringing new models to the market, like the Blackberry Storm 2 and Android smartphones..
